Get Involved: Volunteer to Support Local Candidates in the 2025 Federal Election

Greek Roots is inviting youth ages 16 and up to experience Canada’s democratic process by volunteering with the campaigns of three Greek Canadian candidates in the 2025 Federal Election. Volunteer shifts are flexible and can be for one or more hours any time between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 19, in any of the following ridings:

  • Riding of Vimy (Laval, QC), in support of Annie Koutrakis, Liberal Party of Canada

  • Riding of Saint-Laurent (Montreal, QC), in support of Emmanuela Lambropoulos, Liberal Party of Canada

  • Riding of Laval-Les Îles (Laval, QC), in support of Konstantinos Merakos, Conservative Party of Canada

Volunteer tasks may include:

  • Participating in door-to-door outreach with other volunteers and supervisors

  • Making phone calls to constituents representing the candidate

  • Supporting campaign events and logistics as needed

All volunteers will be given instructions and orientation onsite. No prior experience or political background is required.

This is not a political endorsement. Greek Roots is a nonpartisan organization, and this initiative is meant to promote youth volunteerism and active civic engagement—reflecting Hellenic values like critical thinking, civic responsibility, and community service.
