Greek Roots is a Canadian nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the next generation of leaders through community volunteerism, mentorship and Hellenic cultural experiences. We welcome all youth aged 13-29 who espouse the values of Hellenism and/or are interested in learning more about Greece and Greek culture.

VOLUNTEER AT THE
LASALLE GREEK FESTIVAL
July 6 & 7, 2024
Greek Roots is thrilled to support the LaSalle Greek Festival, on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7, at Rapids Park, across from 7707 LaSalle Blvd. Youth Volunteers, ages 13-29, are needed for several tasks including selling raffle tickets and helping with logistics at the food service area. Multiple shifts are available and includes a free meal provided to volunteers.
This event is an excellent opportunity to build your leadership and social skills, add volunteer hours to your portfolio and help support the not-for-profit Greek community in LaSalle!
Volunteer Requirements
- No skills or previous experience are necessary.
- If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will be asked to submit a signed release form.
- Instructions and orientations will be provided closer to the event.
- You will be provided with clothing/markings to identify you as a volunteer.
- To get to the location, we encourage you to carpool or take public transportation
- Includes free meal provided to volunteers
- We will provide a volunteer confirmation following your service. Please allow up to two weeks to receive your confirmation
