Greek Roots is a Canadian nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the next generation of leaders through community volunteerism, mentorship and Hellenic cultural experiences. We welcome all youth aged 13-29 who espouse the values of Hellenism and/or are interested in learning more about Greece and Greek culture.

10th ANNUAL MONTREAL GREEK FILM FESTIVAL

NOVEMBER 10-27, 2024

Greek Roots is excited to be a proud supporter of the 10th Annual Montreal Greek Film Festival, running from October 7-20, 2024 at cinemas across Greater Montreal! 🎥📽️

We’re on the lookout for passionate volunteers to help with key tasks like ticket sales and welcoming guests. This is your chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Greek cinema, meet new people, and celebrate Hellenism in style! 💙🤍

Volunteer Requirements

  • No skills or previous experience are necessary.
  • If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will be asked to submit a signed release form.
  • Instructions and orientations will be provided closer to the event.
  • You will be provided with clothing/markings to identify you as a volunteer.
  • To get to the location, we encourage you to carpool or take public transportation
  • For shifts of more than 4 hours, a free meal is provided.
  • We will provide a volunteer confirmation following your service. Please allow up to two weeks to receive your confirmation
